These Community Guidelines are the friendly, practical companion to our Code of Conduct. They are tips for getting the most out of the Site while keeping it a great place for the whole class.

Posting on the class wall

• Share updates, memories, and questions the class would enjoy. Photos from “back in the day” are always welcome.
• Choose the right audience with the visibility setting — public for things anyone can see, alumni for classmates only.
• Keep threads civil. Politics and hot-button topics tend to divide a reunion crowd; if you go there, stay respectful.

Photos and tagging

• Only upload photos you have the right to share.
• When you tag classmates, tag kindly. If someone asks to be untagged or removed, please respect it.
• Old yearbook and event photos are a highlight of the Site — add captions and the year if you can.

Reaching classmates

Use the private messenger or the privacy-safe contact relay to reconnect. Don’t post someone’s personal phone number or address publicly, even to be helpful.

Marketplace and business listings

• List real items and genuine local businesses. Describe things honestly and price them fairly.
• This is a classmate community, not a billboard — no spam, pyramid schemes, or repeated mass promotion.
• Arrange payment and pickup safely, and use good judgment as you would with any local sale.

Memorials and In Memoriam

Our memorial pages honor classmates we’ve lost. Please post with care and sensitivity, and reach out to the committee if you spot an error or want to add a remembrance.

Events, RSVPs, and giving

RSVP honestly so the committee can plan, and let us know if your plans change. Ticket, merchandise, and donation payments run through trusted processors; keep your receipts.

A note on AI content

Some news and newsletter items are drafted with AI help and reviewed by a volunteer. It’s meant to be a fun, informal digest — if you spot something off, tell us and we’ll fix it.
