This Code of Conduct keeps our class community welcoming, safe, and fun for everyone. It applies everywhere on the Site — the class wall, comments, messages, the contact relay, photos, listings, and events. By using the Site you agree to follow it.

Treat classmates the way you’d want at a reunion

• Be respectful, friendly, and welcoming — even when you disagree.
• Assume good faith. We are a group of adults who share a school and a graduating year, not much else — a little grace goes a long way.
• Keep it appropriate for a mixed audience that includes old friends and their families.

What is not allowed

• Harassment or bullying of any classmate, including unwanted contact after someone has asked you to stop.
• Hate or discrimination based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, age, or similar.
• Threats, intimidation, or encouraging harm to anyone.
• Sharing others’ private information (phone numbers, addresses, workplaces, photos) without their consent. Use the privacy-safe contact relay instead of publishing contact details.
• Impersonation — claiming to be a classmate you are not, or another person.
• Spam, scams, or commercial exploitation of the class list. The marketplace and business directory are for genuine classmate use, not mass advertising or fraud.
• Illegal content, or content that infringes someone else’s rights.

Respect privacy

Everyone controls their own visibility on the Site. Do not screenshot or re-share alumni-only content, private messages, or photos outside the community without the poster’s permission.

Reporting a problem

If you see something that breaks these rules, use the Report option on the post, profile, or message, or email reunion@classof2000.info. Reports go to our volunteer moderators and are handled as discreetly as we can.

How we enforce it

Depending on what happened, moderators may hide or remove content, give a warning, temporarily suspend an account, or — for serious or repeated violations — remove someone from the community. Moderator actions are logged. We aim to be fair and proportionate, and to explain our decisions where we reasonably can.
